Reading and using his excellent notes on each piece will encourage players to explore the dynamics and tone of the instrument in relation to the mood and emotions of each piece. I am a musician/educator in Midcoast Maine. I've been at it since I was twelve or so and I continue to derive much joy from this, as well as from my wife, my cats, and my gardens.
I have become especially adept at working with older adults. My experience as director of the Midcoast Ukes helps me recognize and deal effectively with concerns seniors might have with starting a new instrument and playing in a group as well as acquiring, developing, and refining new skills.
